I agree to abide by these terms & conditions set out by the Company.
These conditions of hire apply to all hires by the Company to every Customer.
No variations/cancellation of terms and conditions will be binding on the Company.
1. Quotation
Unless otherwise stated, quoted prices are valid for two months.
2. Bookings
Bookings are accepted ONLY when these terms and conditions are returned, completed and signed by the Customer to the Company.
3. Deposits/Security Bond to confirm booking
A non- refundable deposit of 25% of the quoted hire fee is payable to confirm the booking.
A further security bond of $500 forms part of the deposit payable.
The Security bond will be refunded within 3 days after collection of the marquee clean and undamaged.
4. Cancellation/ Deposit
The 25% deposit shall be forfeited (non- refunded) if cancellation occurs prior to the booking date unless your marquee is rehired to another Customer.
5. Delivery charges are subject to change upon/after site inspection.
If the site is not as described by Customer at the time of booking more equipment may be needed and extra delivery costs and time will be charged.
6. Prohibited decorations
Whilst we encourage you to decorate the marquee as you wish please do not use sticky tape, duct tape on the canvass of the marquee (walls or roof) Streamers must not contact the canvass. Extra fees will apply if these materials stain or damage the marquee.
7. Cleaning
Marquees are to be cleaned out after use ready for the company’s collection. Walls are to be cleaned ONLY with warm water and detergent. Under no circumstances are any chemicals to be used. Waiting time will be charged if access to removal of marquee is delayed.
8. No alterations to structures
Marquees as erected by the Company are not to be altered, dismantled, added to or used as support for any other item under any circumstances. The Customer shall ensure no person climbs on marquee structures.
9. Damage to Equipment
The Customer shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the marquees/equipment for any reason unless deemed by the Company to be reasonable wear & tear or an “Act of God” Any costs incurred in rectifying the repair/replacement of these goods shall be the responsibility of the Customer.
10. Damage to Property or Person
The Customer shall be responsible for any loss or damage to property or person caused by the marquee/equipment during the period of hire unless deemed by the Company to be an “Act of God”
11. Underground Services
The Customer is responsible for providing the Company with full and detailed maps of any underground services at the site. If not supplied the Customer will indemnify the Company in respect to any claims, damage or expenses in relation hereto including any Drainage, Telecommunications, Water, Electricity, Gas, Irrigation, or any other underground services.
12. Electrical equipment
The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising out of the overloading, exceeding rated capacity, misuse, or abuse of electrical equipment by the Customer and the customer agrees to keep the Company indemnified in respect thereof.
Any damage caused to the Company’s equipment caused by fusion or malfunction or overloading, brownouts is the Customer’s liability and the Customer must take adequate precautions. The Customer will be charged for any repairs required to the equipment.
13. Security
The Customer is responsible for the security of the marquee/equipment until such time as arranged with the Company for collection.
14. Payment of hire fees
The balance of hire fees must be paid two weeks prior to hire to ensure delivery.
